The Rogers Home Monitoring Protect Package is the most basic plan they have to offer. It has less security features than the other two plans but it can be a cost effective solution for those of you who are trying to minimize on spending too much money.

The monthly monitoring fee for this package is $39.99 and they have a $99 professional installation fee. However, keep in mind that you are obligated to be on a 2 year contract with Rogers and they ask for you to bundle the Protect Package with their internet, cable, and phone services. This can easily cost you hundreds of dollars per month.

If you are intent on bundling all you home services with Rogers this could the right plan for you but I would strongly recommend you read my Rogers smart home monitoring review before spending your hard earned money and committing to a 2 year contract. You don’t want to make a decision that you will regret in the long run. I would also suggest checking out Frontpoint Security because they offer better deals than Rogers and they have a much better reputation in the home security industry than Rogers does.
